The Cleantech Summit, an initiative of the Tech Tour and the International Venture Club (IVC) was held in Rotterdam on 22-23th November 2017 and it focused on showcasing the best investment opportunities within the cleantech industry in Europe. Aurelia is among the 40 most promising cleantech companies was chosen around 100 applications. Aurelia got Top Presenting Company award. (November 2017)

PERPETUUM
Aurelia Turbines has won the PERPETUUM 2017 Energy Efficiency Award Jury Prize at the annual conference organised by the German Enterprise Initiative Energy Efficiency (DENEFF) in Berlin. Ten finalist companies with innovative energy efficiency solutions were competing to convince the jury and Aurelia was voted the winner. (March 2017)
Start Up Energy Transition
Aurelia Turbines had been chosen as one of the three finalists for the Start Up Energy Transition Award in the category of Cleantech Against Climate Change. Start Up Energy Transition is a global initiative for visionaries and vanguards fighting climate change. The Award identifies the most promising start-ups worldwide working on energy transition. Aurelia had been selected from a field of more than 500 international start-up technology companies to compete in the final. (March 2017)

The German Energy-Agency (dena) and its network the Start Up Energy Transition organized Award 2017. There was five categories and a special prize to support the 7th Sustainable Development Goal (SDG 7), more than 90 partners from over 30 countries. “Ambassadors” from all over the world, a high-level expert jury defined the Top 100 Start-ups, from which 18 finalists and 6 winners were chosen. Aurelia Turbines was one of the finalists. (March 2017)

Kasvu Open
Winning finalist at Kasvu Open Competition & recipient of the Going Global programme award. Kasvu Open is the largest competition for start-up companies to impress growth experts in Finland. The experts select those companies with the best ideas and growth plans. Only five got to meet potential investors in Silicon Valley and to make ’their pitch’. Aurelia Turbines was one of the growth companies chosen to be sponsored! Additionally, Aurelia has been chosen to participate in the ’Going Global’ programme. This is a programme dedicated to developing international growth for selected start-up companies. Over the next few months, Aurelia will benefit from consultation, workshops and focus groups run by internationalization specialists in Finland and the UK. (October 2016)
