Hydrogen associations

As members, we work closely with various hydrogen technology organisations, including the Clean Hydrogen Alliance, European Turbine Network (ETN), Association for the Efficient and Environmentally Friendly Use of Energy (ASUE), Cleantech Finland and Greenreality Network, and we are eager to expand our network.

The European Clean Hydrogen Alliance (ECH2A) has been established by the European Commission to support the development of a clean and globally competitive hydrogen industry in Europe. Our CEO Matti Malkamäki is a nominated member of the European Clean Hydrogen RoundTables in the energy sector. The themes discussed in the group include re-electrification, mega storage, and electricity grid/balancing.

We have cooperative arrangements with DLR and LUT University.

DLR Logo

The German Aerospace Center (Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt; DLR) is the national aeronautics and space research centre of the Federal Republic of Germany. Its extensive research and development work in aeronautics, space, energy, transport, digitalisation and security is integrated into national and international cooperative ventures. In addition, DLR is in charge of the planning and implementation of the German space programme. DLR is also the umbrella organisation for one of Germany’s largest project management agencies.

For the last decade, DLR has been working with hydrogen fuel, which is most common l for rockets. Aurelia and DLR are now collaborating to develop turbine technology that can be fueled with hydrogen.
