Aurelia Turbines received an invitation to receive grant in excess of 2 M€ from the EU’s Horizon 2020 SME Instrument Phase 2. Horizon 2020 is the biggest EU Research and Innovation programme ever. It is the financial instrument implementing the Innovation Union, a Europe 2020 flagship initiative aimed at securing Europe's global competitiveness.
Horizon 2020 funding is highly competitive – typically less than 10 % of the applicants receive funding. The process to receive an invitation includes application, review and interview of the team. Aurelia’s ability to get this far away in the funding process proves that Aurelia’s cutting-edge technology can benefit greatly the whole Europe providing unique solutions.
