Enhanced Operational Capabilities for Aurelia A400 in Finland
The Aurelia A400 unit, initially deployed to the Robinson project in Norway earlier this year, has temporarily returned to our Lappeenranta facility in Finland. In collaboration with the Project Officer and Team, Aurelia has implemented a strategic decision to maximise operational efficiency, by temporarily transitioning the A400 operations to our Finnish factory, utilising available gas sources.
This proactive approach offers several key advantages:
- Valuable Operational Experience: By maintaining active operation, the project team gains invaluable hands-on experience and valuable operational data.
- Optimized Resource Utilization: This strategic move ensures that the A400 remains productive and contributes meaningfully to project objectives.
- Enhanced Project Readiness: Continued operation strengthens the overall readiness and performance of the A400 unit for future deployments.
This proactive measure underscores Aurelia's commitment to optimising project outcomes and maximising the value of our cutting-edge technologies.
Meanwhile, the European Union Project Officer extended the Robison Project, which will now end in July 2025. The project is funded by the EU’s Horizon 2020 Smart European electricity grid with a grant of 8,4 M€. The project started in October 2020.
